Our second class, let's get setup

Our plan for the day:

  1. We will review the rules

  2. We will take a closer look at our daily notes

  3. We will discuss our goals for the class:
    1. build two web-based applications to help people
    2. learn if programing is for you

  4. We will review our class syllabus

  5. We will follow the instructions in our getting started guide

    1. This is a little boring, and you have to follow all the instructions REALLY CAREFULLY.
    2. We will test our remote setup
    3. If we are lucky, we can make a simple page on the internet
    4. It is important you help each other here!!

  6. We will review our learning

Statement of Inquiry

The big idea for today is Course orientation.

The essential questions for this topic are:

What do I need to know, understand and do to be prepared for this class?

It takes time to explore and really understand a big idea. If you want to

We are learning this because as a designers must understand scientific and technical innovation. Designers use systems, models, methods, and processes to solve problems.
