Our plan for the day:
- Welcome! We are going to setup some things, and learn a fundamental idea about programming.
- Let's start with a really short quiz
- We are going to take a closer look at our daily notes
- I expect you to read our daily notes at the start of class or a bit before class starts.
- We will discuss visual studio code
- line numbers
- syntax hilighting
- We have a bit more setup to do, let's get to it.
- We are going to setup SFTP. This will enable you to upload your files from Warsaw to our server in Frankfurt, Germany. (cool, huh?)
- Please open the email I sent you with the subject line "your account".
- Please open visual studio code
- Please ensure you are working from your programming folder.
- Finally, we will be very careful about saving our work in the right folder
- We will learn about HTML and start coding!
- We will watch this video
- We will look at the anatomy of an HTML element
